Research shows that breastfeeding is one of the most important contributors to your baby's health. It can also improve your health in several surprising ways.
The choice to breastfeed is, of course, up to you. Since the Family Birthing Center is dedicated to improving the health and well being of mothers and their infants, our nurses and a board-certified Lactation Consultant will provide you with breastfeeding education and assistance during your stay with us. We also offer a free, weekly Breastfeeding Support Group for mothers and their babies (up to 6 months in age). The group shares the adjustments and successes of breastfeeding.
