Hospitalist Services

Hospitalists are medical doctors who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year to provide ongoing and immediate care.

MidState Medical Center boasts a robust hospitalist program comprised of more than 21 experts who are trained in the field of hospital medicine.

While you are in the hospital, our hospitalists will work with your primary care physician to ensure continuity of care and a seamless transition to home, once you are discharged. Patients are encouraged to think of hospitalists as a partner with their regular doctor, one who is working as a member of the healthcare team to assist in your return to good health.
