When to go to MediQuick

MediQuick's physicians and medical staff treat an extensive assortment of  injuries and minor illnesses, such as:

  • Sprains and strains
  • Broken bones
  • Finger, toe and shoulder dislocations
  • Acute back pain
  • Other sports injuries
  • Sore throat/cold/cough
  • Pink eye

  • Sexually transmitted diseases
  • Workers compensation cases (illness and injuries, but no physicals or drug tests), with referrals available to Hartford HealthCare

When to go to the Emergency Room

We recommend a trip to our Emergency Department for the following conditions:

  • Loss of consciousness
  • Fainting, sudden dizziness or weakness
  • Changes in vision
  • Trouble walking
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Chest pain
  • Severe and sudden pain
  • Coughing up or vomiting blood
  • Head injury
  • Major bone break
  • Suicidal thoughts, feelings
