Before any surgery or invasive procedure at MidState, the entire team takes a "time out" to review several items including: verifying your name, the procedure to be performed, any allergies you may have, and the correct side or site of surgery.
This process begins when you are first interviewed by the MidState staff and continues into the procedure room.
