Suffer From Back Pain? Free Educational Sessions Hosted by MidState Medical Center

If you suffer from back pain you’re not alone. Join us to learn more about common back conditions and the treatment options available to help you find relief. Doctors from MidState Medical Center are hosting a free two-part educational series open to the community. On October 8, Dr. Dean Mariano will cover the topics of low back pain, sciatica, disc disease, SI Joints and non-surgical treatment options. On October 15, Dr. Jeffrey Pravda and Dr. Joel Bauman will discuss osteoporosis, compression fractures, spinal stenosis and spinal deformities. Both sessions are scheduled from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the MidState Family Health Center, 61 Pomeroy Avenue, Meriden. At each session, physical therapist Renee Bouchard will give an overview of physical therapy techniques to improve back pain. Registration is required. Light refreshments will be served.
