About MidState

MERIDEN — Karen Goyette has been appointed assistant vice president of planning and business development at MidState Medical Center.
She joined MidState in October 2000, and is responsible for the hospital’s strategic and facility planning, development of new programs and services, and certificate of need submissions.
Goyette also oversees the hospital’s internal and external real estate. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and her master’s degree in business administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

MERIDEN — Greg Folta has been named assistant vice president of physician services at MidState Medical Center.
He has worked at MidState for two years. His responsibilities primarily include physician recruitment and the development and management of MidState’s ambulatory care network, including MidState Medical Group Walk-In Center in Wallingford. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
