recognizing our commitment to quality diagnostic testing in the detection and management of heart disease. Echocardiograms have become one of the standard diagnostic tools in the field of cardiology. An estimated 10 million are performed annually in the United States. This noninvasive test allows physicians to assess heart murmurs, check the pumping function of the heart, and evaluate heart attack patients. Cardiodiagnostics at MidState is one of the first one thousand laboratories in the United States and Canada to be so recognized for its excellence.
