Frequently Asked Questions

How many treatments will I need?

Veins - Between 3 and 6 treatments, 8 -10 weeks apart.

Hair - Several treatments, every few weeks; 1 to 2 touch-up treatments per year.

Sun/Age spots/Rosacea - Usually 4-6 treatments, 4-6 weeks apart.

Enhanced skin rejuvenation - Between 3 and 8 treatments.

Is it painful?

For vein and hair treatments, a topical anesthetic is usually recommended prior to each treatment. An anesthetic is usually not necessary for other applications.

What should I expect after my treatment?

Redness and swelling is temporary. There is no downtime, but we recommend limited sun exposure for one week following treatment. For pigmented lesions, one can expect initial darkening and eventual crusting of each spot, following by lightening within a few days.
