When unexpected illness or injury occurs, MidState’s full-service Emergency Department is here to help. Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, our emergency physicians and team of medical professionals stand ready to provide the best medical care available, promptly and efficiently.

Facilities

MidState’s 9,600-square-foot Emergency Department is fully equipped to treat people of any age, with any condition.

Our facilities include:

· 19 major treatment and trauma rooms
· A six-bed cardiac-monitored 23-hour observation unit
· Four minor-emergency-care rooms
· Three isolation rooms for treating infectious diseases
· Two gynecology rooms
· An eye-ear-nose-and-throat room
· A six-bed, monitored, behavioral health unit.

We also offer TDD devices for the hearing-impaired, interpreter services, and a latex-safe environment.

MediQuick

For extremely minor illnesses or injuries, you may choose to visit MediQuick, MidState’s walk-in center located at 883 Paddock Ave. MediQuick is open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily, except for major holidays. For questions, call MediQuick at 203 634 1520.
