Programs and Services

Preventing, diagnosing, treating and monitoring gastrointestinal disorders is the focus of MidState’s Digestive Health Center. Staffed by board certified gastroenterologists and skilled clinical staff, our comfortable, modern center diagnoses and treats a full range of stomach, colon, and GI-related disorders and performs critical tests such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and related diagnostic procedures.

For Your Convenience

MidState’s Digestive Health Center is located in our main Lewis Street facility, but is separate from all other hospital services. We have our own private entrance, waiting area and nearby parking lot.

Colonoscopy Services

More than 150,000 Americans are diagnosed with colorectal cancer every year. Colorectal cancer is easily treatable and cured if detected early. The best way to detect it in its earliest, most treatable stage is by the simple, painless procedure known as colonoscopy. If you are over 50, or if you are not yet 50 but have a history family history of colorectal cancer, polyps, ulcerative colitis, Crohns or inflammatory bowel disease, talk with your primary care physician about having a colonoscopy. Then arrange to have your test close to home, at MidState’s Digestive Health Center.
